A Passionate Response

Thursday's passion meditation really struck home to me last week, as well as today. The reference to Mary and how she responds to the call to worship moves me. I recently listened to a podcast from a church I attend on occasion(Rock Harbor) and the magnitude of the message itself is reiterated in this short meditation. "When seized by the passionate love of Christ she (Mary) smothers Him with kisses, great affection, and sacrifice." And I ask myself, when I feel the call to worship, in/by whatever means, do I respond with such immediacy and urgency as Mary? Lord, give me the strength and courage to live my life as a constant response to your call to worship your loving power and might.
