Psalms 23 The sheep and The Shepherd.

I don't usually start posts like this but has anybody ever been around sheep? I though Sheep were to be the most cuddliest, cutest, and friendliest animals on the planet. They just look soft and gentle, I started to consider If I had room for one in my back yard. But it wasn't until I went out of to sheep pasture to really find out how sheep really are.

Sheep are the most dirtiest, stupidest, dumbest animals on the planet. They smell awful, they are extremely dirty, and have parasites. It gets better, sheep are literally defenceless : they can't run, they can't fight, and they can't decide if they want to run or fight.
Sheep have absolutely no sense of direction. You can put one sheep in a open field and have the corral in plain view and the sheep won't know where to go in case of a rain storm.
A sheep sole survival is with the Shepherd. The Shepard actually tell the sheep where to go to eat or sleep by means of using his staff. If sheep go astray he uses his staff to correct the sheeps direction. He protects the sheep from Fox's and wolves with the other end of the staff, the rod. The Shepherd is always close by, never to far off. When it is time to go to market, the shepherd sheers the sheep of the dirty cotton. Then the shepherd cleans it and the wool is sent to market. The sheep is now clean and white

I think in a lot of ways we are like the sheep. We are covered in the filth and sin of the life. We are defenceless from a enemy that can devour us. We make horrible choices that lead us farther from God. We can't choose what is right even if it is put right in front of us.
God is our shepherd, he guides us and leads us, he protects from evil we may encounter. He is always here for us and always available. Most importantly he has shed the dirt and filth that has contaminated our lives and left us clean and pure.

By the way fun fact, sheep's brains are extremely similar to a human brain in terms of structure and materials.
