Peacocks & Divine Romancing.

Hello Friends,

I'm not quite sure how to approach this blog thing. But I have been so encouraged reading all of your posts! God is working through this team so much already and It makes me even more pumped to start the summer!! I've been on spring break this week and have been amazed at the beauty of nature. God is such an artist. Ive never had the opportunity to see a peacock in real life until this week, and WOW are they such evident evidence of Gods creativity! How cool is it that God makes each bird so beautiful and intricate! I know I know, random! But I'm totally obsessed with these birds. In other news, I believe it was Wednesday's reading that was describing how divinely romantic God is towards us. This has been such a theme in my life since last summer. If you haven't heard Phil Wickams Divine Romance yet, then go listen! SO GOOD. How awesome is it that the God of THE UNIVERSE romances each of us!!? Even cooler, he romances us in our own way. He knows exactly what we need and fulfills that. Seriously, so blessed. I think God was romancing me with these beautiful birds. It's like, God takes the time to make the birds beautiful and they are only birds. We are created in Gods image, so i can't even imagine how beautiful God made us and see's us. It reminds me of that verse in Matthew chapter 6, "See the Flowers of the field grow, They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field...will he not much more clothe you?" That is all for now.
