"Use the Force" ... but not really.

You can never force someone to believe what you want them to. They have to come to that on their own. Others may say that they believe it, but really deep down, they may not. They only say they do to make you happy. "Generosity, praise, pro-activity, and service are bedrocks for effectively drawing out the best in others." Notice how forcing is not on that list? By showing love, generosity and serving others, that is when they can come to believe. They are not going to believe something if we just it to them. We have to show them. This is so true for this summer. Many of the students that we encounter have never really experienced Christ or the love that He has for us. By serving these students, showing them love, befriending, encouraging, modeling and challenging them, they may come to believe.

It takes patience and trust in God to know that He has his hand in everything. We need to trust His work and understand that its ALL God!!!
